Bitter Memories
Bitter Memories
Written: by Miracle Man

We are all fettered to our past,
Thoughts take us places, while staying, at like times.
Our bodies don’t move an inch,
While our minds often hasten to a memory,
Where we encounter happenings left long ago to rot as waste.
Our minds often accelerate past worthy reflections,
To explore past injustices;
Echoes of the past,
Are surreal stirrings of our minds,
And many are like persimmons, eaten before first frost.
