fine example for your contest. I like the yalto, very plain but the poet can add alliteration, onomatopoeia (drip, drip, drip) for color and excitement. The biggest challenge for me was the one-syllable line - how to color it up a little while keeping specs intact.

Reason, thank you so much for the visit and compliment. I like the Yalto form also, I find it is not too restrictive and gives the space to be creative, yes, those one syllables words are not easy, blessings

This is a lovely verse, Constance, so well illustrating the Yalto form. I'm sure this will be a new form for some of the poets here on the Soup, but you should get some marvelous examples in your contest. Best wishes.
