"You never know who you're going to meet at the sunflower seed bowl", said the cardinal to the spotted bird of the family. :-) One of the ways to pay it forward for all the blessings we've received, my Sara. Lovely thoughts = Lovely poetry! Smiles ~ Blessings Bill

Sara, there is a charming sweetness to this sweet haiku! We are truly blessed when nature comes to tap us on the shoulder and leave a permanent kiss! I have a hummingbird feeder outside my office window and love watching the hummers come in for a meal! We have had to be very creative with our bird feeder to keep the squirrels from stealing the bird seed. We have laughed as we watched them stretch from an upper branch to try to raid the bird feeder! Blessings to you! Thank you for this gem!
