Bird and Pawn Lo, gloomy nights Surrounded by dark Lit a crow, upon a pawn Darkness cast Blackness last Strategic landing Pawn on it's back Such a brutal attack Bird lays down dreams The pawn is gone He's dead, he's fallen Crow flown in from night His victim no longer alive Strategic move Two players fought Alas, the crow moved forward One person lost, pawn Darkness cast Blackness last Strategic landing Pawn on it's back Such a brutal attack Checkmate 3/22/18 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr.©2018
