Optimistic Patriot
Optimistic me, let's have a look-see,
Features: partial plate, hearing aids, bifocals and gray hairs.
My Savior, my family, my friends are who I talk about.
Hate hurts while love forgives and patience cares.
Joy, anticipation, mercy: these are feelings I tout;
snakes, liars and fire: these I fear and can live without.
If I could, I'd defeat Alzheimer's, cure cancer, answer prayers...
Proud to reside where no nation compares,
Patriot of the USA, content to be free.
Positively optimistic, what do you think of me?
