~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When light erases the mist falling softly
Against a quiet morning,
Life becomes eager to begin again,
Like the start of something wonderful,
It stirs awake the flames of faith,
That forever, forever awaits in this day,
So listen, morning says… listen
To the silence and remember to pray,
Forever awaits in this day – eternity…
Embrace her and feel the grace,
That comes to those who simply believe,
Believe in the music God sent to ease…
Every burden, every worry, every shadow,
So that everlasting peace,
Abides in the whispers of dawn,
Everlasting hope in the fulfillment found,
Beyond the darkness, in the skies,
So alive with a sun rising,
Softening the spirit, sending tingling
Miracles, so brilliant… sparkling like serenity,
Dazzling away the deathlike doubts
From the winter’s soundless bitterness.
And, as morning fades
The light, once bold, faces the pangs of regret,
Mourning the loss of dawn,
As the softness of twilight invites the spirit
To hear the breathless prayer of a soul,
Who knows that, beyond all feeling lies the music,
Tenderly playing, notes praising
Silence pouring out the petals of hope,
Words never more alive
Than in the fleeting moments
Before the night calls it’s sun home,
And moon rises, with shadows,
Starlight shimmering in the edges of the moments,
Wishing, wishing, wishing…
Her melody is ever fierce, blessing and healing,
As His love, soundless as the stars,
But more amazing than the beautiful hues,
Set in the nocturnal flow,
Where there lies a secret, blazing
Beneath the surface of silence,
Penetrating the prayers, promising
As night calms the seeds of yesterday’s reflections,
Bilocation, sometimes in questions,
Reassures the heart that forever is still sure,
Forever, where all hope is renewed,
Forever, where God’s love is so pure.
The moments invite guitar gladness,
Heartfelt songs,
harmony in hearts who can see…
Beneath the grief, the seeds
Planted beyond the seas of deceit,
Calming the soundless fears,
Knowing that His love is always clear,
Lighting the way,
More luminous than the sun…
This Son is revealing the soul,
Saving the life that hears His call,
Breaking through darkness,
With tenderness that echoes
Through the wise, and through the humble,
Through the smiles of those who sense
His presence – even when they’ve wandered,
Beyond the moment,
Into the image of His grace,
Where nothing on earth can replace,
The brilliance of His face!
