Big Bang For Your Christmas Buck

I If we humans did not exist in eternity, before this experience that begins with a birth and ends at a funeral, why the desire for immortality? whence do thoughts of "eternity" arise? II Our science, even faith traditions, since the famed German, Martin Luther's rebellion in 1517, convey we are artefacts. We are in one way or another made as one more by-product of the Universe (or God). We can therefore see humans as separate from both the environment, and from the Universe. Even abuse the environment and universe when we feel like cogs in a machine, really victims in the universe as a result of "unknown processes." III Another perspective is the ancient idea of the universe as "play" as in the Sanskrit, "Lila." (This is not exactly the concept of illusory "maya.") We are born in the process of the "play" and do not exist outside of the PLAY AND AUTHOR EVEN IF UNKNOWN OR ANONYMOUS. We are part and parcel of the play of the universe, not different except perhaps in how we employ our senses. Analogies may be made with Radio and Sounds from it: all sorts of voices, creature sounds, music, advertizing, even static on the radio, are produced through a vibrations and a SPEAKER SYSTEM, not by REAL, separate actors and creatures inside the radio itself! so, even if a BIG BANG produced all of this universe, it could not have ended, but is ongoing (immortal/eternal?) We, humans too, are part of the play, called BIG BANG, not the product of it. We are here "through" the BIG BANG, not because of, or FROM, it. We are the BIG BANG in process ... still. The vibrations WIN! '

Merry CHRISTmas, Anil, I enjoyed your story. It was very interesting. I just read the history behind Martin Luther a couple months ago, Interesting how he changed the church. Wishing you a Merry CHRISTmas, praying for you always and the people in Africa. Debra
