Bidding Loneliness Adieu

A lovely story may begin when single searchers whisper “Yes” to that sweet call for yearning hearts to claim their chance at happiness. The season and our time of life was autumn. When we met, we knew the future was a time for us to bid our loneliness adieu. The simple things that we enjoy-- October walks, a gentle kiss, a quiet meal, a loving touch-- are parts of our own special bliss. Our love and friendship keep us strong, for words and deeds go hand in hand. We found we’re not too old to love and grow. Our lives are never bland. Hi Janice, we have put ourselves in Lock down until a vaccine comes out which we have discussed and will definitely have. We live in a complex where we can walk and talk, it is almost like Central Park in New York, of course always with our masks on and social distancing ' our lives are never bland', We order whatever we need on line. Blessings Jennifer. Great poem Janice

Reminds me of Thomas Moore's, "Believe me if all those endearing young charms" , i.e., people in love see the beauty in each other! Aloha! Rico
