Beyond Human Sense
An invisible decree,
a cosmic speed limit,
unyielding and absolute.
Through vacuums it dances,
a silent swift messenger,
carrying the echoes of stars.
Time bends in its presence,
distances shrink,
reality warps at its approach.
We measure the universe by it,
a fundamental constant,
a yardstick of existence.
Yet, we cannot grasp its velocity,
it outruns our senses,
a concept beyond human intuition.
It illuminates the past,
the light years a history book,
written in photons.
A paradox:
instantaneous on our scale,
an eternity across galaxies.
The ultimate pace,
a boundary we can observe,
but never truly touch.
