Between Sand and Cloud

Between sand and cloud Lies sparkling glitter intertwining hues of blue forming seas mysterious aura faded forms of dark slate rise on horizon’s far off edge slowly eyes see undulating forms of mountain fog silencing sharp edges a shimmering watercolor of late summer beckoning you to sit without cares as light as the very mist

It is so calm and peaceful. This reads like a lullaby, Jeanne.

I love that concept...a lover's lullaby by Janice Ian was a favorite of mine.

Your poem reminds me of my own I wrote some years ago in which I describe the rising sun at the ocean's horizon to a water color in the making. Thank you for reading my work. Best to you in your writing endeavors. / M
