Based on an idea from the iconic film Whatever Happend to Baby Jane with Bette Davis and Joan Crawford . Cagey Canary I know I display issues with anger and rage, you see, But I feel like a criminal locked up in a cage, said he, I'm a cat, fat and old, But you chose to withhold, It's Bette Davis isn't it, who's coming for tea?

creative and brilliant, Daniel. Methinks the cat has 'Bette Davis eyes' :-) Clever Limerick. Enjoyed it. Best wishes with the contest, Sara

Good Morning Sara, me thinks the reference may go unnoticed, I'm hoping to catch up on your poems over the weekend as I've been busy all week making bookcases . Stay safe , Daniel

I'm glad you took a different tack, all the ones I'm reading are pretty much the same. Bette Davis? Brilliant
