Betrayal
The more you care, the more betrayal hurts
The more someone shows to care, the more it hurts
Care and betrayal can go hand in hand
Like an angel with the devil, one cannot understand
But it happens and steals trust like a thief in the night
Not easy to rebuild, heavy like concrete
That weighs on the heart and tires the soul
Where people are not who they portray to be
So, the song carries on out of tune
With puddles left in muddy streets to see
Reflecting acts of betrayal as dirty as can be
