Beloved Pet
It was a beautiful Spring day, the sky was blue with a bright yellow sun. As we drove down the back roads, pretty flowers were in every yard. The boys felt I needed a new friend, we were off to find it. Our search lead us to, an animal secure shelter. I was ready to give in, but it had to be a small lap dog. As we walked and looked, there was no match to my request. Then there she was, not small by any means. We took her for a walk around the grounds, then papers had to be signed. Guess my new lap dog was only thirty pounds, but she was definitely sent from heaven. My new angel,
wearing a pretty fur coat.
