One of the scariest things I have heard a person repeatedly say was, "I will never hurt you"... because at the time, I just thought WHY on earth would a man need to emphasize this to me (unless there should be some kind of doubt?!). Like you, when a person tells me something over and over that might be assumed- it raises major red flags in my mind!

I think that psychic awareness is there to SAVE us from the nurturing, loving side that wants to believe the best in everyone. If a man said that to me, I would figure he was secretly polishing a machete.

You are right; I do have very strong beliefs, but I am not a believer of people who keep reiterating over and over how terrribly believable they are.
