Begging To Be Someones Family

I lost my whole family
So I took in a neighbor
I have paid, sold, washed, shopped, cleaned, and done for this neighbor more than anyone in his life has
His own children won't call him,
but I do
His ex wife is dating his old friend
I continue to encourage him
He is lost in the meta verse

One day he'll tell people about me like he tells me about others
All of the good people he Met in life are all memories now
and I reminded him one day you'll explain how you had a beautiful person who BEGGED to be your sister.

Showed you more love than your own kids
but because she is a BLACK WOMAN
she means nothing- you'll never call her your sister
you will never protect her like family.
You will remember her for cursing when she's mad
No matter how much she does you will never protect her from men'
because our men are so scared and weak in character.

I deserve better and will never beg to be anyone's family again.

This story tugs at my heart strings. Love has no value in a world where people are ruled by racial prejudices ! Congratulations Gu Genday on your POTD

Gu, so sad there is so much of this hatred STILL in these times. No one should have to beg to be part of a family, after all, we are ALL brothers and sisters, my dear friend. Read my latest poem "Brother in the Blind" I hope it cheers you up! Congratulations on POTD. So well deserved...Blessings Charlie

ln my family, it never seemed to be mentioned, what color a person’s eyes or hair or skin was, unless it had some pertinence to the conversation. It was unimportant information, and much more important to comment on their personality, manners and friendliness. I guess that’s why I can honestly say that I didn’t notice skin, eye or hair color til I was well into my teens. It just wasn’t important. My kids were brought up this way too. l wish it was the same for everyone, as it should be.

You do deserve the best this is very true, amazing the love you have shown to your neighbor, I pray you find some around you full of God's love as you inherit, God is giving out free life, joy, comfort, peace and love to all and the world rejects it, Jesus had 12 deciples that he knew was gonna abandon Him , but He knew they where at this time of this world, but when filled with spirit they did not abandon Him,love ya my friend
