Before the day turned into night- a walk I took in warm sunlight to gather in the awesome sight of this fine time neath sky's delight. The tree limbs waved a sweet hello, and flowers smiled in nature's glow. A nearby brook, with babbling flow, drew happy birds with chicks in tow. With daytime done, the moon appeared to it and stars, my vision steered; thankful I spent my day, well-cheered- to rest at last, as my mind cleared to sleep, recoup with joy well-dreamed before this night to new day streamed.
