Beauty In Silence
I take my seat beneath the pines near the lake's still water
and watch reflections of birds gliding across its mirror face
the movement of my eyes is the only intrusion to the quiet
as I linger in beauty while Nature reveals the day
draped in elegance that coats the sacred Earth
in this silence, I confess my love for Nature's Cathedral
