Beauty a Definition

Beauty,
what is it,
how can it be
so fragile;
Will o' the wisp,
here today
gone tomorrow,
ethereal;
And yet..
is it skin deep,
mirror made
reflections;
Deeper
in the glass,
the eye tells more..
reveals;
Appeals
to the beholder,
a unique view
ever new;
Enduring
and indelible,
etched upon
love's retina
