Beautiful Mystery
BEAUTIFUL MYSTERY
Oh, the great beauty of the mystery
Surrounding the birth of Jesus, our Lord
No other event in our history
Can compare to this most wondrous accord
Born of a virgin who was just a child
Conceived by the Holy Spirit of God
He was born in a stable, meek and mild
Yet came from glory where the angels trod
He died of a cruel death on a cross
To save this sinful world in which we live
Prayed to the Father that none would be lost
And gladly His life He did freely give
He waits for you to place your trust in Him
So eternal life will not become grim
