Beautiful Journeys
I dream of beautiful journeys in my mind
of walking through lush forests green
of sitting beside a rippling stream
of driving down an endless road tree lined
while birds twitter and sing serene
and I stop to pick wildflowers _
and gaze at windy mountain cliffs
and hear nature murmuring to me
she whispers softly and insists
that she fears for her life _
now, sadly my dream sets me free
