be gentle with him
like putty in your hands
he’s dependent on your love
tenderness is what
allows him to forget
how deeply he relies on you
it’s your loving caress
and subtle kindness
that whisper loud and clear
you make each moment
memorable and mellow
your smile brightens his day
your sweet compassion
each warm touch treasured
it’s what he cherishes
in your gentle hands
you hold his heart
he totally believes in you
