Staring up to the night sky Stars and moon, clouds passing by Dancing alive, caress of lights Gentle as the hope that comes to life When I see this breathtaking display Laughing and smiling like they are praising The Creator of them all, the One Who lights up the moon and the sun With His inspirations of peace and hope His amazing wonders of grace Pouring out love through the heart Who welcomes His presence with faith That He is the greatest blessing More sacred than space so alive It seems like a prayer from the night Falling through the silence, breaking Every thought with a sense of peace That fades into the shadows, Hues of sapphire dreams and halos Of angel wings reminding the soul To always know that the Creator Not the creation – should be praised By you and me – His creations He is the maker of everything He is the flame within the fire He is the light that guides the night He is the journey of spring to winter He is the joy that makes real laughter He is the One who I worship And He is the One who gives my life purpose He is the meaning of my yearning He fills all my heart with assurance That He is alive and because He lives I will survive all that comes to me Sorrow, grief, pain, depression and despair Because of His love I can be certain I will make it through this world Secure in the Father’s love, sure That I know the love that came down To die on a cross so we wouldn’t need to Because of this Love that brings hope I can live justified by the cross And saved by the resurrection of One Who made me and gave me Salvation, Redemption, Deliverance I am so grateful for my Savior above!
