Bad Behavior, Bad Consequences
There was a warrant out for my arrest.
I’d broken laws—as many would attest.
“I did it my way,” Frank Sinatra sang.
I did things my way too. Now would I hang?
They found me! “Come out with your hands up NOW!”
Obedient, I didn’t cause a row.
I served my year. That’s ancient history.
I’m law-abiding and I WILL stay free!
BEWARE! The cops will also come for you
if you break sacred rules in your haiku!
