Awryness
I'm in a state of distress though not a mess
I'm travelling forward like I couldn't care less
To look at or talk to you just couldn't guess
Though not a mess, I'm in a state of distress
Looking up at the sky my nerves are awry
There's no cause for worry as I always get by
I'm not as incapacitated as my words might imply
My nerves are awry, looking up at the sky
Deep breaths are tough when things are so rough
Thoughts get cluttered weighed down by stuff
But I'm still good company with a great flair for bluff
When things are so rough, deep breaths are tough
I'll meet up with friends as a means to some ends
We'll eat Greek food and chat, though least said soonest mends
Staying socially active to get round tricky bends
As a means to some ends, I'll meet up with friends
