it’s not desire per se, but the clinging that stifles souls, stops the heart singing enliven silence, give the soul a new day but the clinging, it's not desire per se too transfixed, lost all intention stood at a standstill, living prevention tunnel vision, surely the devil's tricks lost all intention, too transfixed find peace, relinquish this bind in hedonism, there's nothing to find gentle resting, let chaos cease relinquish this bind, find peace

Such a terrific look at a one sided relationship. The sentence 'too transfixed, lost all intention", struck me as clinging leading to boredom. A very fine poem. Thanks.
