Awakening Eyes
A soft light,
Cooling to the eyes,
Rays of inexpressible delight,
Cool milky dreams in sight,
Alert gentle eyes are,
A blown out candle's demise,
Passion tamed,
The flame waned,
A cool gentle release, no tears from smoke,
To now wear a fleece with shiny white sunglasses,
A spiritual peace that stays and not passes,
To be free from lust,
No more marriage to a perversion trust,
Awakening eyes to no lies,
The truth is a birth,
To a new worth,
A light not burned,
With eyes pure, a soul turned,
No flame to sizzle me,
No succubuses to lure me,
My eyes now crystal clear,
No pain, no stress to worry or fear,
No filth to harm my skin and eyes,
No debris of lust in disguise,
But now I see.
