~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What a noisy time, this awakening! The moist earth hums a new melody: robin hops with a cheerful chirp, the tabby purrs in the sun, squirrel chicks, her tail flicks, children squeal with glee. Creation chants joyfully. Lift your voice!
It used to be fall was my favorite time of year. But its swapping to spring. I am trying to get my container garden growing. I love all of the new life and the greenery and the critters. Course I am in California in a spot that does not much see all 4 seasons unless I drive out of town :D Spoiled I am.
I'm the same way, Susan. So much to love about fall, but there's something about spring's energy that I find inspirational and joyful. I once lived in El Paso, Texas...not real change of seasons there either...just sand, dust, wind, sand, dust, and cacti :-) I appreciate you stopping by and taking the time to comment. Wishing you a pleasant Friday.
Yes! Sara, you have inspired me to 'lift my voice' with your uplifting wrap-up to your sparkling poem... Only one problem: I have a 'heavy voice.' It's gonna take a warehouse full of guys to lift it. lol. Cheers, Gershon
