Autumn's First Flight

It starts with the citrine hills And flows free to the valleys edge With sweet tendrils of light entwining Autumn's story of fiery glory unveiled To watch day by day Shifting colors entwine A soft memory of summer Through moments of light I climb through gold windows Through shawdows alive To burn with orange fire On Autumn's first flight _________________________________

A stunning portrait of fall, crafted with beautiful imagery, Rick. Those last four lines make me wish I were living in a state where the "orange fire" painted the scenery. Excellent entry for the contest. Wishing you success!
