Autumnal Sponsored by: Sotto Poet
A tribute to my son's birthday on Oct 3rd
Listen to poem:
Walk me through a continues path
No one, hath aroused of its sleep.
Let me bathe in the autumn's cool breath.
To a painted scene of green that slowly fades
From a perfect stage of spicy spices colors,
Leaving behind flickering flames upon the limbs.
As briskly leaves flutter like scattered butterflies,
Settle and snag among collaborating blades.
A graceful brown sugar amongst the ground
Relaxing to the ambiance of rain and sunshine
And golden ears harvest of the humble earth.
To perching mockingbirds charmed lullabies that quiver
A weft line staff and pinwheels round eternal skies.
Walk me through memories most distant
And unforgotten cries of a newborn melting my soul.
