Your descriptions are so bold, I really like 'platinum windstorms' - makes me think of the Santa Ana winds of southern California, congratulations on your win~

Hi Michelle! Funny, you think of the Santa Ana's and I think of winter storms in the northwest!! I'm so glad that you liked this haiku string! Watching a storm roll in made me think of all of the storms I have seen take shape! Thank you! Your feedback always makes my day a little brighter - even if it is raining! Blessings of joy to you!

Hi Deb! I am so happy you liked this "stormy" haiku string. I watched a storm roll in the day I wrote it that inspired it. Thank you! Blessings of peace and joy to you!

Sam, you are at your creative best in your haikus ! They show nature in its splendid variety....Silver shadows, flakes of ice, gusty winds, wild unchained torrents, hummingbirds.... all clothed in mesmerizing rain bow hues! Indeed a feast to the eye! Congratulations on your top win in Brian's contest....

Thank you so much dear Valsa! Have always loved creating images and haiku seems to be the perfect forum for that delight especially with its limited syllable count that demands words with impact! Haiku has been a great teacher. I am so happy to hear this was a visual feast for you but, then again, with your amazing ability to create images I am not surprised and very pleased as my heart does a little happy dance! Blessings dear friend!

Andrea, thank you so much! I realized in reading your feedback I always have a "movie camera lens" rolling through my mind - a subscripting of sorts. When writing it seems to be a matter of which fleeting image I can capture with words. So much fun to chase after those images like chasing leaves! Your feedback really warmed my heart and is so encouraging to continue that chase! Thank you for the early gift my friend! Blessings!

Thank you so much dear Lasaad! Fall is such a rich treasury of constantly changing images! I think I have mentioned how much I enjoy writing haiku with its emphasis on nature, imagery, metaphor and personification. I am so happy that love comes through! Sending you all the blessings of the season dear friend!
