Autumn Leaves Change
"Life is like a rope. Each person a string
entwined to make us stronger."
As the spirit soars with the wind
across a darken sky, we breathe in
a scent of life, gripped to the land
First autumn leaves changing
exuding earthen tones of bother
preparing to blanket, with love
a languished skin lost in fear
Heated nights cut short time
uncovering the fright, aged with care
in an unopened bottle of blue, waiting
as muffled footfalls fade away
