Attention Paid To the World

When I understand everything that's new And hold the wise thought of once found, it's old To comprehend the difference of the two Will give reason for something to behold Shall I placate moments without desire And be satisfied only with what's known Be a stone on life's river banks empire Rather drown, trying to swim to unknown I'll find my loss of breath a good payment A worthy debt to swim with the living Then stay on river's bank of discontent Frightened, because life is unforgiving To risk the unknown, live life without fear And seek what's new, as you find it appear

a deep thinking one here, Frederick. I think sometimes it is scary to take risks with unknowns!

We are only on this planet once my friend, and we never know when our lives may end,to find comfort in this journey doesn't mean to charge off blind rather to embrace the living and life itself, not to be chained to old memories where illusion lives, for life itself is unknown and aren't we life, therefore unknown, isn't that the journey...to know?
