Attention Paid To the World
When I understand everything that's new
And hold the wise thought of once found, it's old
To comprehend the difference of the two
Will give reason for something to behold
Shall I placate moments without desire
And be satisfied only with what's known
Be a stone on life's river banks empire
Rather drown, trying to swim to unknown
I'll find my loss of breath a good payment
A worthy debt to swim with the living
Then stay on river's bank of discontent
Frightened, because life is unforgiving
To risk the unknown, live life without fear
And seek what's new, as you find it appear
