At Sea

At Sea Hello my love,I'm out to sea,We're almost as far out as we can be! I'm writing this poem,as I'm very board, I just said my prayers, My prayers to the lord. My mind is just woundering, when I'll be back, as I lay here this night alone in my rack.I know I'll be home soon,I feel it inside.My heart, it is speaking, my feelings won't hide.We'll be close together,again you will see, as close as a husband and wife can be. I love you dear wife, more then you would ever know.Thats why in the Navy, away I do go. Goodnight to you love, I will say goodbye,I'll see you real soon,I hope ,I won't cry. Elizabeth L. Daniels
