Hi Jennifer.. A good write. Life must be a bore for some..to go on this show. My spirit is more of the huntress variety. Rather go out and hunt a lover or a potential mate. I do have a penchant for choosing the wrong person. Married once. Engaged three times! But love the hunt. Retired Huntress...LOL Panagiota

Hi Panagiota, you have a zooty sense of humour - like it. Retired huntress - LOL, LOL! I got married to the love of my life 18 nearly 19 years ago, in the seventies we went out for a year and then lost touch and out of the blue Elias phoned me and we were married 6 months later. Both of us were divorced and both had a son from previous marriages, we are not youngsters either, our sons are in their thirties and married - not a yaya as neither of them want children! "At first sight".. at first write! at first read! roaming souls are attracted to each other to fulfill a destiny and answer a call! Humourous is your write, but very deep thoughts in the layers.. Andrea my friend, miss you, wish you lived nearer, we would become even closer friends, I just feel it. Yes it is but not quite. Couples are matched through photos and a biography of themselves - which they have to send in. They are not allowed to speak to one another until thy meet on their wedding day. The photo they send is only for the panel so one doesn't know what the other one looks like until the bride walks down the aisle! After a honeymoon, they are set up in a flat for a while and it is after three months, after one has moved in with the other, that they face one of the panel - they have then decided to either stay married or get divorced. I do agree with you Carolyn - I think that perhaps they are adventure seekers who people enjoy adrenaline flowing through their veins, or the ones that are now not yet married and don't want to be left on the shelf, so opt for playing the marriage game. It does minimize the significance of marriage and mostly ends in tears. I have seen one or two couple that remain married, but they should have a follow up after a year, to see how the relationship is then! Unfortunately Vijay very, very few opt to remain married, most of them ask for a divorce or I would say a good 65% of them do. It is a different kind of show to watch if, nothing else decent is on the telly - I prefer to compose poems. Thank-you for stopping by, Poetry hugs, Jennifer.

I saw your soup mail and answered Alexis - what business have you got? We have a Personnel Consultancy for the last 28 years and supply nursing staff nation wide. Some of them just get married, I am sure just for an adventure and a thrill, not seeking something which is sacred in Gods eyes and between two people in love!
