Summer-scented blueberry breezes
announce Autumn as scarlet shades tint the trees.
And loose leaves, like crinkled crimson,
fall as songbirds sing a forlorn farewell.
Daylight dims, darkness descends,
and warm winds morph into fickle friends,
scattering snowflakes at Autumn's end.
