Astral Trip Version Ii

It seemed like an innocent experiment simple enough I had read the steps Bedtime routine out of the way I was ready to start ~ Relaxing tape playing for ambiance I was gone in an instant With zero recollection of the next thirty minutes When I heard a thunderous clic signaling the music had suddenly stopped Overcome with a blissful calm feeling I refused to open my eyes Having a very different reaction than my bedfellow Who was quite unaware of my little experiment While he was busy screaming and throwing pillows At the figure in the dark standing motionless at the foot of the bed I managed to let slip out a couple of reassuring “it’s ok’s” Eyes still blissfully closed as I was savoring the last milliseconds Of my soul’s sudden re-entry briskly sucked in Inches above my navel with almost a slurping sound That was my first and last astral trip a little too very real for my liking Submitted on September 29, 2020 for contest "THE UNEXPLAINED" sponsored by CAROLYN DEVONSHIRE - RANKED 2ND

I enjoyed thinking of your astral trip; my father was an astral traveler. He claimed he could think of another place and be there immediately. My granddaughter saw him at her upstairs window once, after he was supposedly "gone". Ha!

You've got to know what you're doing when playing in those realms ~

The experience itself was peaceful but I had no desire to do it again ~ thanks, Sunshine.

Line, I have a similar tape, but it is designed for past-life regressions. Late Souper Daver Austin wrote a novel about astral projection. Fascinating topic and a very good story poem. Congratulations on a great win! Best wishes, Carolyn
