As If To Say,' Summer'
My geraniums are in bloom
mature, crimson, blushing beauties
as if to say, “summer smiles on.”
Maple leaves litter street gutters
falling with occasional wind
gusts with cool foreboding fortune
as if to say, “summer moves on.”
