As If It Were a Secret
White on black sheets.
Covered in sweat.
They lay in silent defeat.
They lay no regrets.
The first and possibly the last time.
Though as it was love,
It still was a crime.
The air still hung heavy,
The scent still so sweet.
And through veils of magic,
Nothing could ever be so keen.
The radio stood silent,
CD still in it's case.
A embrace so relient,
A love totally safe.
Flashbacks flood the mind,
A mistake totally fit.
And I whispered to you your name,
As if is were a secret.
