As Endless As the Sky
With rags to back his weary bones
he wondered not the why
Such answers bear a pondering
as endless as the sky
For those deserving of the world
are often left behind
While those of seeming little need
have all they hope to find
With judgement not of man’s concern
at least not meant to be
He knew that life was not about
the singular of me
I hope to one day find the thoughts
that gather my regard
And learn the lesson he has lived
though battle bruised and scarred
