As Day Fades
Listen to poem:
Another day fades and lets night seep in
The light is bright, the shadows limping long
With long gloved fingers splotching scenes with shades of grey
The rush and bustle of day settles down to calm stillness
Time for reflection during the transition
About how the day has gone and what tonight may bring.
Dusk is such a peaceful time as the day fades.
Enjoy the dimming of this day done.
