Art Class

I was registered in a
watercolor art class

it was going to be fun
and inspiring
to learn the basics
and experiment
at home

so when I created
my masterpiece
worth any Picasso
I was so proud
I had to bring it
to my next class ~

imagine my surprise
when the instructor
let out a screech
"that’s not what we learned’
I almost laughed at her
but just quietly sat down
for what would be
my very last amateur hour

Sounds like the student is better than the teacher!

Thank you for expressing so clearly and humorously little incidents that make us who we are.

Not a very good instructor. I probably would have had some really nice things to say about her mother. Don;t let it discourage you. Art is like poetry, subjective. This one made me angry, Line.

That was what came out of her mouth, no more no less. LOL Thanks, Tom.
