Are We Really Free

captured by ideas of society.bound by the chains of created ideology.murdered by the fluctuation of emotional distress.tortured by the minds of our peers.disappointed in our ability to feel pain.shut up by the fear of rejection.insane of words kept too deep within.deluded by stereotypes regarding race, culture, creed and beliefs.and yet our parents think that they raise us in a free society.they think that no it's only adolescent.they think it's a phase to pass.don't they understand the scathing this "phase" can do.we're just clouded with this utopia of freedom yet we are heavily incarcerated by our lives. Do we really think we're still free?
