April Folly In Delicate Array
Water color painting
Lightest blues, greens,
whites, and grays
April folly in delicate array
God's unique take on spring
Still waters mirror the trees
Who are surrounded by floodwaters.
Some up to their knees
All of those winter snows
Melted around houses and barns
Showing how liquid
April can be in every direction
Take note child,
And call before you come
Lightest blues, and whites
Smiling down at flood waters
Cold water faeries
Under a proud April sky
Confident of who she is
And what she has done.
