Appreciation
Early in the morning
Before the sun has risen
While the dew drips sweet nectar
From Pale Running Rose's petals
Linda is busy typing unique comments
'Pon my foggy poems just written
Dependable through good times
Faithful through the sad
Her comments always make my heart glad
As the Mockingbird chatters P.D., P.D
Gregarious singing comes from Pear's green leaves
P.D. will read my thoughts about the clatter
She'll say a lovin' word to lift me higher
Our poetic spirits meet
But our earthly tabernacles are apart
Somewhere deep within we share poetic hearts
