Another Day
Dreaming about tomorrow,
it is all that I have.
It makes me happy.
When there is no other way.
I wish that you could come today.
I wish that you could stay.
We could play and run and laugh.
We could be content, if the sunshine was half.
We would not care, but stare up at the moon.
Being there with you, (so fleeting...)
makes me less here... when I have to be.
More there, where I want to be,
and unable to "be" all that I need to be.
I count the time,
seconds, minutes, hours...
weeks, months and years!
Mistakes paid for with tears.
The fear that the loss
of more is still forthcoming.
Letters in the mail,
less and less, and then not at all.
I release you...
I forgive you.
It is not your fault,
It is no ones,
but mine.
