Anointed Dawn

The dawn's quiet benediction sanctified the soft drizzle that dripped through the canopy of that majestic mahogany, touching my humbled head, silently anointing me. Strange, but through shut eyes I could more clearly see, and, ever more firmly, I believed in forever, and, somehow, naively, felt truly saved all over !
