Dear Friends at PoetrySoup:
Last year 2014, February 8th, I joined The PoetrySoup community of online writers who enjoy sharing their poetic journey. Today, one year later, I am happy to celebrate my 1st Anniversary writing and posting my poems online. It's been a blast for me.
I try to make my writing and posting a daily happening, and write as many pieces as I can. I focus to make my words meaningful and easy to read. There are many individuals who inspired me to create pieces that I never imagined or attempted before in strange and new ways.
But more than that, I have a very supportive audience who have taken the time and effort to comment on my poems. Some are cherished, and others appreciated for their candid bluntness. Overall, I am grateful for the positive and challenging comments I get. I also accept the occasional critique in good faith. Thank you my friends.
Since I post so many a day -- 3 or more -- I observe that many do not receive any comments. And the funny part is this: very often, a poem that is not commented upon receives a lot of readership. I express my fondest good wishes for all those who have helped me grow in my writing journey here. You know who you are, and I say "Thank You" for your support all this time.
Yesterday, February 7th 2015, I posted my 1,652nd poem at the PoetrySoup website. I would also like to say "Thank You" to my anonymous sponsor who paid for my 1-year premium subscription last year on March 14/15. I hope that I have written some memorable pieces that touched your heart, my dear sponsor. God bless you.
I hope to continue writing and posting my poems at PoetrySoup for a long time to come. Here's my Anniversary poem to celebrate this writing milestone which is pure joy. Your reading pleasure dear friends is a delight to me. Enjoy!
