Angels Danced
When the haze of the drowsy dusk disappeared behind the
drape of tinsel twilight the mystique night spread its silken
tapestry on diaphanous sky where at the edge of ethereal
cosmos a star was born lighting thousand candles on lap of
mother. Its enticing twinkle rippled ecstatic rhythm in the
dance of angels celebrating the descent of a spark of divine
light. The shining star enjeweling the esoteric crown called
life started its journey back after the time assigned ended
as a shooting star to go home blazing the singular transient
path nobody would ever tread, in the obscurity of darkness
nobody would remember it ever existed and nobody would
ever see the ashes fall like tears of weeping angels as they
see the essence of the extinguished star return home spent
with the dreams burnt, left behind in wasteland of remorse.
new candle lights up
dark lap of some other sky…
supreme sea gives back
