Angels

I close my eyes to sleep Breathe deep And in my head begins to twirl Radiant veils so graceful I feel the warmth I feel the love As arms carry me up To join the blissful parade No pomp no words no music Just the echoing pulse of serenity A glimpse of the other side A taste of eternity Just when I wonder If my heart will explode I am reminded that I can feel safe To call on my angels at anytime So I know on this side I am never alone AP: Honorable Mention 2020 Submitted on September 3, 2017 for contest ANGELS sponsored by MYSTIC ROSE

I remember Mystic Rose and how much she loved angels! YOu created a lovely poem for her contest. My husband thinks he has a guardian angel and has had several near death accidents. I have had some really close calls on the freeway. AT least five of them in my life. One of them I swear an angel must have guided my hands. I have no idea how I was able to swivel back and forth with two cars on either side of me and I had no lane to be in!!
