And Then
And then
And then the sun came shining through
the haze and morning mist
Warming up our springtime view
with golden sunbeams kissed
And then we walked the garden path,
such beauty there did grow
You whispered that you loved me true,
you’d never let me go
And then you took me by the hand
my heart it skipped a beat
When right before the daffodils
our two lips came to meet
And then we lay atop the grass,
your body warm and pure
So happy just to spend the day
with one I do adore
And then you gazed into my eyes,
a look to me to send
Exactly what you had in mind,
I pulled you close and then…
